I just wanted to write about why I decided to submit recently an art-piece to DeviantArt. It's 'cause I remembered that I could. A few other things that I could submit are comedic diagrams that I graphic-designed for D&D fora. At least my lack of submission keeps the quality standard of my last deviations high, relatively of course. Geez, was my last journal entry in 2008? I keep a digital journal, and decided not to post statuses to Facebook either. My journal is in .txt format and I just recently switched to Unicode. I like to keep it in a simple, universal format. I think that I still have to go back and make sure I didn't forget any sensitive personal information on here, and I'm glad that DA added a "edit this journal entry" option directly.
I just checked and found that I have four followers, and that I can read comments directed at me in a sub-menu. I just decided to randomly hop back on here because I recently surfed DA for awesome art. It's humbling. I mighta graphic-designed a cartoon image of my friend for his birthday instead of making the pop-art. I feel that I don't have the chops. It feels weird to define a digitally generated art-piece as "cartoon" just because it falls short of photo-realistic, even though that's what I'd attempt at.
