One of the first things my eye was drawn to and that confused me were the outlines of hand and feet, occluded behind the leg in the fore (and the duvet).

The position of the upper leg is odd and would seem strenuous in that position as well as in tension with her hand, but otherwise doesn't look strenuous.

The background wall is odd for a glamour shot, but it can come to be ignored.

The appearance of the light source and its proximity is odd. That is, it draws attention to itself because it's non-standard, and people usually don't sit that close to a window (whose blinds are closed) except for the lighting, probably to read a book. Outside of that context, it's odd. But as much as I criticize the light source, it does the lighting job well. The cleavage is accentuated, all of the dimensions of the flesh are clearly contoured.

The highlight is the gap between her forearm and her lower thigh, teasing her crotch, including the opening between her teddy and her pelvis.

Everything else looks great. The sheets look comfy. Their abutting the window looks cozy. There's a vignette (which looks natural and not photomanipulated) and the model is centralized. The tattoo doesn't draw too much attention to itself. The colours are safely mild. There are few fly-aways.

The jewellery doesn't add much. It might even be preferable to see the bare collar, but it's not a big deal.
I just wanted to write about why I decided to submit recently an art-piece to DeviantArt. It's 'cause I remembered that I could. A few other things that I could submit are comedic diagrams that I graphic-designed for D&D fora. At least my lack of submission keeps the quality standard of my last deviations high, relatively of course. Geez, was my last journal entry in 2008? I keep a digital journal, and decided not to post statuses to Facebook either. My journal is in .txt format and I just recently switched to Unicode. I like to keep it in a simple, universal format. I think that I still have to go back and make sure I didn't forget any sensitive personal information on here, and I'm glad that DA added a "edit this journal entry" option directly.

I just checked and found that I have four followers, and that I can read comments directed at me in a sub-menu. I just decided to randomly hop back on here because I recently surfed DA for awesome art. It's humbling. I mighta graphic-designed a cartoon image of my friend for his birthday instead of making the pop-art. I feel that I don't have the chops. It feels weird to define a digitally generated art-piece as "cartoon" just because it falls short of photo-realistic, even though that's what I'd attempt at.
